MUSCULAR

DYSTROPHY

            During the month of March, we will be participating in the Shamrocks Against Muscular Dystrophy Program in which students sell Shamrocks to raise money for Muscular Dystrophy.
            MDA is on its way to finding a treatment for 43 neuromuscular diseases.  It serves local families by providing clinic visits, assistance with the purchase of wheelchairs and leg braces, and a summer camp program for kids ages 6-21.
            In the year 2007, elementary, middle, and high school students in North Georgia raised over $43,000 for this program.

WHAT YOUR DOLLARS WILL PROVIDE:
$2000 – Purchase Wheelchair, Leg Braces or Communication device
$650 – Sends One Child To Camp
$500 – Wheelchair/Leg Brace repair
$200 – Clinic Visit
$150 – One Physical, Occupational or Respiratory Therapy consultation
$100 – One Support Group Session
$85 – One Minute of Research
$25 – Flu Shot
