The 2010/2011 Wendy's High School Heisman application is now available at www.wendysheisman.com. Any eligible student can register and begin the application process now. This year, we want to hear from all student athletes who work hard, are dedicated, and have become role models for your school's underclassmen! Eligibility for the application is limited exclusively to students who will be in their senior year of high school during the 2010-2011 academic year. They must have at least a "B" grade average and participate in at least one sport.
Deadline for applying is October 3, 2010

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Cotillion
The local graduate chapter of Aopha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. the oldest sororoty founded by African-American women, is sponsoring a Dubutante Cotillion. To be eligible to participate, you must meet the selection criteria:
1. Have a 2.5 or higher Grade point average
2. Be a full-time Junior or Senior in High School
3. Be in good standing with your school and within the community
An information session will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2010 at The Goergia Power Building (800 Broad Street, Rome, GA) at 4pm. All interested young ladies and gentlemen should sign-up in the guidance counselor office if you plan to attend. If you have and questions, please come by guidance and talk to Mrs. Perry. |
